Role overview

Job Title: Operations Manager

Salary: £28k - £32k (dependent upon experience)

Contract Type: Permanent

Line Manager: Head of People

Role Summary: To lead in the planning, management and deployment of the workforce across the Foundation.

Objectives

  • To lead the planning and deployment of the workforce, including monthly and holiday planners, pre-planned and ad hoc/emergency cover.
  • Work collaboratively with programmes leads to ensure sessions are adequately covered with the correct number and skilled staff.
  • Work closely with all areas of the People Department to support with workforce development, talent identification and retention.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

  • Previous experience working within an operational role
  • Strong IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to be adaptable and problem-solve
  • Ability to work flexibility out of hours when required

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable

  • Knowledge of coaching, football or sporting provision
  • Experience of Line Management
  • Experience working within budgets
