Job Title: Youth Engagement Officer

Salary: £24k - £26k + Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent

Line Manager: PL Kicks Manager

Role Summary:The purpose of the Youth Engagement Officer is to deliver high quality experiences through our  Premier League Kicks and Onside programmes within the Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Lowestoft areas

Objectives:

  • To ensure the consistent delivery of excellent, inclusive services that drive meaningful outcomes across all projects.
  • ​To support the tracking of data & quality across all Inclusion projects

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable

  • Minimum Level 2 sports/coaching qualification

  • Previous experience of youth work delivery

  • Proven ability to engage and inspire participants from diverse backgrounds, including those from disadvantaged or hard-to-reach communities

  • Awareness of the factors that contribute to vulnerability, such as mental health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence & homelessness

  • ​Ability to work evenings and weekends

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable 

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in sports development
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety, safeguarding & Risk assessments

  • ​Strong organisational skills and knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools( CRM’s) including Salesforce
