Ipswich Town Foundation is currently looking to recruit a Football and Education Lead. This is a full-time role to support the Girls Development Programme and the Post-16 Football and Education Programme over 37.5 hours per week.
You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic professional, who is flexible, and target driven and has an ability to recognise new opportunities and develop existing relationships to deliver. You will have a great understanding of how to sustain and increase participation with an ability to network with local clubs, schools and organisations to build relationships.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
