Eligibility: Must require a placement year as part of your university course (Undergraduate Placement / Sandwich Year)
Hours: Full time
Remuneration: Paid expenses only
Location: Chadwell Heath Training Ground (with occasional travel across WHU sites)
About the Placement
Are you passionate about football, data, and the art of turning match moments into meaningful insights? This is your chance to spend a season inside the engine room of a Premier League football club.
West Ham United is looking for enthusiastic placement students to join our Football Analysis teams for the 2026/27 season. You’ll be working across the Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, or Academy (please specify your preference when applying!).
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, elite environment — capturing training footage, analysing matches, supporting GPS and data monitoring, and helping deliver insights that influence performance on and off the pitch.
If you love football, technology, and learning from top-level analysts, this placement will give you a season you’ll never forget.

Additional Information
This is a full-time placement, and flexibility is key — you’ll be expected to work in line with team schedules and player availability. Regular performance reviews will support your development throughout the season.
