About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual who has previous experience in elite youth football in Scotland within our analysis department. This individual must be passionate about developing and recruiting young players through video and data analysis.
The successful candidate will work across our U17s and U15s Next Gen squads to deliver an elite performance analysis provision to facilitate individual and team development, as well as identify and track the best young players in the country for our Academy recruitment.
· Create and deliver Post Match Analysis sessions across our U17s & U15s Next Gen squads in line with the Glasgow City Game Model
· Create and deliver Opposition Analysis sessions to Players and Staff when required
· Collaborate with academy coaches to deliver individual analysis sessions with academy players
· Manage academy scouting reports and the clubs academy recruitment database
· Utilise tagging software to collate clips for analysis sessions and highlight examples of best practice within our academy
· Manage academy GPS Data
· Utilise telestration software to improve player learning and engagement
· Track key KPIs in line with the club game model to highlight performance trends and areas for improvement
· Create a positive and safe environment within analysis sessions to facilitate player development
· Experience working in a football environment
· A demonstratable ability to tactically analyse football to a high level using video footage
· An ability to track and analyse performance data
· An ability to create and deliver concise and engaging presentations
· Able to meet deadlines
· Highly IT literate and competent with Microsoft Office
· An ability and hunger to learn in a fast paced environment
· Coaching qualifications
· Talent ID Qualifications (Scottish FA, English FA, PFSA etc.)
· Experience with video tagging and telestration software (Nacsport, Hudl Sportscode, In-Play etc.)
The role will have regular contact with children, and it is therefore required by law to have a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check through Disclosure Scotland as a condition of employment.
