The U6–U7 Program Lead is responsible for overseeing, delivering, and supporting Brams
United Soccer Club’s U6–U7 grassroots programming in alignment with Ontario Soccer’s LTPD
Fundamentals stage. Reporting to the Manager of Grassroots and the Executive
Director/Director of Soccer, the Program Lead provides on-field leadership, coach support, and
ensures high-quality program delivery, safety, and player development.
• Lead U6–U7 training sessions following Brams United’s curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and age-appropriate learning environment.
• Support physical literacy and early technical development.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to volunteer coaches.
• Ensure proper equipment setup, field organization, and safety.
• Communicate weekly goals and expectations to coaches and families.
• Assist with attendance tracking, reporting, and program administration.
• Coach foundational soccer skills (dribbling, ball control, passing, small-sided gameplay).
• Support emotional, social, and cognitive development through guided discovery.
• Adapt activities to varying ability levels to ensure inclusive participation.
• Ontario Soccer FUNdamentals Certification
• NCCP Making Ethical Decisions (MED)
• Respect in Sport – Activity Leader
• Experience coaching or working with children ages 5–7
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or related experience
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Additional NCCP or Ontario Soccer certifications (Learn to Train, C-License pathway)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and guide volunteer coaches
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic
• Ability to adapt programming to different learning needs
• Professional, reliable, and highly organized
This is a part-time contract role, compensation will depend on experience. This position requires
availability nights and weekends
