The Role: 


We are seeking a motivated and organised  Executive Team Assistant to provide dedicated support to key members of the Board, working as part of a team led by the Senior Executive Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain valuable experience supporting senior executives in a high-profile, fast-paced environment, with potential to grow into a more senior EA role. 
 

  • Work as part of a team of three, including the Senior Executive Assistant and another Executive Assistant, delivering smooth and reliable support.
  • Assist the Senior Executive Assistant during busy periods, including Board visits, pre-season tours, and holidays.
  • Help coordinate board visits, including travel arrangements, accommodations, reservations, and ground transportation.
  • Support in managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with daily scheduling and prioritisation to ensure smooth team operations.
  • Support the end-to-end guest experience process.
  • Help manage the merchandise and gifting process.
  • Prepare recurring deliverables such as fixture lists and communication calendars.
  • Respond to Board queries as required, escalating complex matters to the Senior Executive Assistant.
  • Support general administration, including expenses, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
  • Handle professional errands and ad hoc requests efficiently.
  • Uphold high standards of presentation and service, reflecting the values and brand of Manchester United.
  • Contribute to project delivery and help identify opportunities for process improvements under guidance.


The Person:
 

  • Some experience supporting senior executives or in an EA/PA role preferred, but strong candidates with high potential and motivation will be considered. 
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and logistical skills. 
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information. 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including note-taking. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. 
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure. 
  • Comfortable managing workload independently while collaborating effectively with a team. 
  • Professional and confident in interactions with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
