Job Title: Tackle Learning Manager 

Salary: £25k - £28k + Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent

Line Manager: Head of Inclusion

Role Summary: This role leads the Foundation’s Alternative Provision education offering, supporting pupils at risk of exclusion or long-term school absence

Objectives:

  • To deliver a high-quality alternate education provision
  • ​To lead on student recruitment and host school liaison
  • ​To support young people to achieve positive outcomes & sustainable exit pathways.
  • ​Achieve relevant programme KPI’s

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

  • A relevant teaching qualification including PTTLS, CTLLS or DTLLS

  • Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk young people & adults.

  • Knowledge of Safeguarding & Risk assessments.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Ability to remain calm in challenging environments.

  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment as a line manager

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable 

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as education or community development, sport, youth work, social work

  • Experience in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and evaluate project outcomes.

  • Knowledge & experience of delivering community projects.

  • Proven track record of managing projects, achieving budgets & KPIs.
