The Role: 
We are looking for reliable and hard-working Back of House team members to join the Catering team at Carrington. This vital support role ensures the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operation of kitchen and service areas across the First Team, Academy, and Women’s Team facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including surfaces, floors, and equipment, preventing cross-contamination
  • Ensure food residue is removed from dishes and utensils before loading professional dishwashing machines
  • Sort and return clean plates, utensils, and equipment to their proper storage
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Report maintenance issues, shortages, or incidents to the appropriate manager
  • Adapt flexibly to various tasks as required by kitchen needs
  • Assist with cleaning Front of House areas when required
  • Ensure dining areas remain clean, tidy, and presentable throughout service
  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents
  • Dispose of food waste, recycling, and general kitchen waste in accordance with hygiene and environmental regulations

 
The Person:

  • Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle (Carrington is not accessible by public transport)
  • Proven ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a professional setting
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts (from 6am starts to 9pm finishes)
  • Previous experience as a kitchen porter is preferred
  • Successful candidates will undergo a full DBS check
