Academy PDP Sports Therapy/Rehabilitation Placement

Placement Role Outline

This role will be integrated across the provision of performance therapy and recovery in the academy programme.  The season-long placement will allow the successful candidates to work closely with the club's medical and physical development teams, contributing to the care and rehabilitation of players while developing practical skills and knowledge as a therapist or rehabilitator. You will assist injury assessment and treatment and rehabilitation, match day support, data management relating to medical record and player tracking, general administration, and be ready to assist in emergency situations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements:

• Studying for a BSc or MSc in Sports Therapy, Sport Rehabilitation or equivalent with a year-long placement (sandwich year) as part of their degree
• Valid and accepted enhanced FA DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check) or be willing to undertake this check if successful
• Valid UK Driving Licence
