Job Title: Marketing & Supporter Relations Assistant (Placement)

Hours: 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the club’s digital marketing communications, including the creation of the weekly email newsletter and targeted campaigns.
- Support the growth of incremental sales across departments including ticketing & retail through digital & fan engagement activities.
- Data extractions and analysis of fan database.
- Assist with the delivery of Club Partners’ contractual digital requirements.
- Assist with achieving and exceeding a best-in-class digital fan experience for fans.
- Assist with the delivery of international fan engagement.
- Assist with the club-wide programme to improve supporter relations and fan experience on match days and non-match days.
- Assist with the implementation of customer experience improvements when needed, in line with the club’s brand values and the external requirements of the Football League.
- Assist with providing timely responses to supporter relations correspondence.
- Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, safeguarding, health, safety and security.
- All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position.
Person Specification
Qualifications/Licences
- Studying/working towards a related degree.
Experience
- Have a sound understanding of key marketing functions.
- Experience of working with data.
- Have worked in customer relations or have an understanding of what good customer relations is.
Skills
- Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail.
- Good computing skills, including some experience of Excel.
- A self-starter, proactive in finding solutions to issues big or small.
- Excellent communicator with a positive, collaborative and flexible style.
- Have a good understanding of the football environment.
- A genuine interest in marketing.
