About The Role

In addition to the response role the response coordinator role requires you to –

  • Organise and manage a security team within a stadium environment.
  • Relay information from the Safety officer to the response teams as part of a briefing.
  • Ensure that response supervisors and team members are conducting their roles adequately.
  • Working with the chief steward in managing and motivating response staff
  • Ensure that all staff are customer focused and trained for safety including evacuations.
  • Be the point of call and direct link to the control room with any issues involving response teams.
  • Manage incidents that occur within the stadium footprint.

Desired skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Time keeping
  • Obtained Level 2 spectator safety qualification/or equivalent (Training maybe available)
  • Obtained Level 3 spectator safety qualification/or equivalent (optional depending on the role)
  • SIA license (optional depending on the role)
  • De-escalation skills
