Ipswich Town Football Club are seeking a Conference and Events Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving conference, meeting and event revenue across the stadium by managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract completion.
Acting as the primary commercial contact for prospective clients, the role focuses on converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, maximising revenue opportunities and ensuring the venue achieves its sales and budgets.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
