Ipswich Town Foundation is seeking to recruit a Head of Income Generation to lead, develop and deliver the organisation’s income generation activity, with a specific focus on corporate partnerships, events and community fundraising
initiatives.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the role ensures the charity generates sustainable income through strong partnerships, engaging fundraising events and effective stewardship, supporting the long-term sustainability of the organisation. The postholder will lead a proactive fundraising culture, working closely with all departments and the commercial team at Ipswich Town Football Club to maximise income and enhance the Foundation’s profile and relationships.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
