Main Activities and Responsibilities

Reporting organisationally to Operational Center Lead, the Workforce Operations Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Workforce Management team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Workforce Management team and other key individuals responsible for delivering workforce-related services in line with the agreed service levels, resolving on-site issues, and supporting the smooth delivery of operations through close collaboration with the central Workforce team and local Functional Area (FA) counterparts.
  • Support day-to-day workforce operations across assigned stadiums and venue sites, assisting with issue resolution and coordinating escalations through the appropriate channels.
  • Coordinate and support the setup and operation of workforce welcome activities at FWC26 venues, assisting with inquiries and directing workforce questions or issues to the right resources or personnel.
  • Assist in daily workforce issue resolution across all locations, working collaboratively with Accommodation (ACM), Catering (CAT), Transport (TPT), Venue Management (VUM), Volunteer Management (VOL), Security (SEC), Access Management (ACS), and Partner Rights Delivery (PRD) to help ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with Accommodation (ACM) on matters related to laundry, breakfast, and hotel services in line with workforce entitlements.
  • Support the planning and coordination of Workforce Welcome and Final Celebrations, working closely with the Workforce Engagement team and relevant Functional Areas to ensure smooth execution on-site.
  • Assist with the delivery of venue orientation sessions, helping present the Workforce Venue Guide, service levels, and key policies/procedures to align all workforce members during tournament time.
  • Support the day-to-day coordination of catering operations within the Workforce Restaurant/Break area in collaboration with Catering (CAT) and Volunteer Management (VOL).
  • Work closely with ACS & SEC to understand PSAs and assist TPT with coordinating shuttle pick-up/drop-off points and general workforce transportation logistics.
  • Maintain awareness of first aid locations and medical stations in collaboration with MED to support workforce safety and response readiness.
  • Support the coordination of storage, movement, and distribution of reward and recognition items, contingency uniforms, and other assets with Logistics and Uniforms teams, helping ensure accuracy and accountability at every stage.
  • Liaise with PRD to confirm placement of VIK items and assist with preparing operational areas and rest spaces for workforce use.
  • Provide support to Uniform Distribution Centers (UDACs) to ensure consistent alignment across all workforce touchpoints.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Central Workforce Team, sharing updates on site status, operational progress, and emerging issues.
  • Support tournament close-out efforts, assisting with final distribution of reward items and post-event reporting to ensure a smooth handover and debrief with the central team.

Your Profile

Education & Qualifications
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Experience
  • Must be available for a minimum of five virtual (5) training sessions prior to deployment and willing to travel for one (1) to three (3) months, as required.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and understand all relevant policies, procedures, and operational documents related to workforce services and venue operations.
Language
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
Locations : Assignments span multiple Host Cities. Not all roles are required in every location.
