The Corporate Partnerships Intern supports the development, coordination, and execution of corporate sponsorships to help advance the Club’s brand presence and revenue objectives. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of sponsorships while working closely with the Corporate Partnerships team in a fast-paced, professional sports environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with matchday sponsor activations and fan engagement initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of contractual deliverables for corporate partners.
- Assist in the creation of partnership proposals, presentations, and recap materials.
- Track and analyze sponsorship performance across digital, event, and matchday platforms.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the Corporate Partnerships team.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Eligible to receive academic credit through their educational institution.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Able to work flexible hours including game days and nights as needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities within a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and setting up signage, tables, and event equipment as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
SCHEDULE:
- 20 Hours Per Week.
- Schedule may vary based on matchdays, events, and departmental needs.
COMPENSATION:
This is an unpaid educational internship designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Non-monetary perks (e.g., game tickets, merchandise discounts, networking events, staff training) may be offered as part of the learning experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- All interns will be required to undergo a background check prior to their first day.
- Interns working directly with players or youth academy programming must complete SafeSport training within the first seven days of their start date.
- Interns are responsible for their own housing, transportation, and expenses.
- Interns must follow all company policies, including confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Interns will not perform the routine work of paid staff, and the experience is intended primarily for the benefit of the intern.
