Job Title – Marketing Manager – Leeds United Foundation

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to plan and execute the marketing activity for the Leeds United Foundation. Working closely with colleagues in the Foundation and the Club, raise the Foundation’s awareness and profile, activating and recruiting programme participants and engaging partners and supporters to help further our impact within the region

Your Impact

Develop and deliver our annual marketing plan and priorities in collaboration with the Foundation Leadership Team and the Club’s Marketing, Digital, and Comms Teams.

Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, including email, social media, website content, and print materials.

Produce professional and inspiring creative content, including, copy, literature and videos in conjunction with LUTV.

Ensure the Foundation maintain brand consistency across all communications.

Coordinate with external agencies and in-house designers to produce high-quality creative assets (e.g., posters, videos, graphics), securing pro bono support where possible.

Implement, track and measure marketing campaigns to optimise the Foundation’s reach and drive action through recruiting to our programmes and raising funds.

Ensure our web pages are up to date.

Work with the PR Team to co-ordinate and optimise player appearances for the Foundation, highlighting the stories of our inspiring and impactful work in the community.

Be responsible for tracking and reporting on marketing spend in line with agreed budgets.

To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required for the Foundation and the Club

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 2 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role,

• Experience of developing, executing and measuring marketing plans and campaigns

• Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic graphic design software (e.g., DotDigital, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and clearly communicate ideas, as well as the ability to negotiate and influence.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Desirable

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience in sports, events and the not-for-profit sector.
