The Access management team is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and world-class hotel operations that support teams, VIPs, workforce, and key stakeholders throughout the FIFA World Cup 26™ across all Host Cities.
These roles support Access Management delivery for the FIFA World Cup 26™ across Host Cities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The positions are responsible for executing access policies, managing privilege zoning, circulation and wayfinding plans, and supporting electronic access control operations to ensure safe and efficient venue operations. Core responsibilities include:
Access Planning & Venue Operations
- Implement, update, and maintain venue Access Plans and Access Boards to ensure clear and accurate zoning information for all client groups.
- Support the design, setup, and refinement of privilege zoning, restricted areas, and controlled routes within the venue.
- Validate on-site wayfinding information and recommend updates to improve circulation accuracy and clarity.
Client Flows & Circulation Management
- Map, monitor, and communicate key client flows, ingress/egress points, vertical transportation routes, and accessibility pathways.
- Conduct access tours to explain movement routes, access rights, and circulation patterns to all relevant Functional Areas (FAs).
- Ensure routes for disabled persons and persons with limited mobility are fully accessible and well communicated.
Electronic Access Control (EAC) Operations
- Deploy, recover, track, and maintain all electronic access control devices (e.g., scanners) assigned to the venue.
- Coordinate with Venue IT teams to ensure proper connectivity (LAN, Wi-Fi, 5G) and device functionality.
- Provide training to security personnel and access staff on the correct use and handling of access control equipment.
Stakeholder Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a primary or secondary point of contact for all access-related issues, escalations, and exceptional access requests.
- Work closely with the Venue Accreditation Center Manager to resolve accreditation-related access discrepancies.
- Liaise with PSA Commanders on perimeter access rights, gate operations, and alignment of security screening procedures.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
(Manager = Lead / Coordinator = Support)
- Lead or support the training, briefing, scheduling, and deployment of Access Control & Screening (ACS) Volunteers and access staff.
- Provide clear operational guidance to workforce, volunteers, and security teams regarding zoning, circulation, and access rules.
- Manage a small team of coordinators and volunteers, ensuring consistent and effective access operations.
Venue Integration & Reporting
- Participate in all venue readiness sessions, operational meetings, and daily briefings as the access representative.
- Ensure alignment on access plans and circulation impacts with all Functional Areas.
- Prepare and provide daily Access Management reports to the Tournament Operations Center (TOC) during operations.
- Support venue rehearsals, simulation exercises, and matchday readiness activities.
Final assignments will be determined based on operational needs, candidate availability, and tournament requirements.
