At Powerleague, we run over 350 five, six and seven-a-side football leagues nationwide every week.

 âš½ As a Football Sales Executive, you’ll drive the profitability of the League Operations function through collaboration with the Marketing, Corporate Sales, Commercial and regional teams to promote our services and recruit teams/players. Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets/KPIs in recruiting teams to play in our leagues, tournaments and other products while managing costs and engaging all key stakeholders

🚀 What You'll Be Doing:

Finance / Sales

  • To fully understand and drive the League Operations performance, identifying opportunities where additional support is needed in conjunction with the rest of the Senior League Operations team.
  • Support the launch of new venues and one-off events, working with the League Operations Managers to recruit teams through various means, including but not limited to attending locations and events, telephoning potential customers, text messages, email, online chat and social media.
  • Proactively use various means to engage and drive awareness of our products.
  • Use all available data to make commercial decisions based on sound analysis and financial judgment.
  • Understand the bigger picture and the relevant commercial opportunities and adapt the approach accordingly.
  • Understand what costs are in your control and manage these effectively within budget, generating new ideas where the business can make additional savings and be more cost-effective.

Customer

  • Understand the behaviour and patterns of your customer base and draw conclusions from this.
  • Actively monitor customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous service improvement.
  • Create a service culture by ensuring all activities are centred on the customer.
  • Lead by example by always delivering great customer service.

Operations

  • Positively influence all business stakeholders by offering suggestions and improvements.

People

  • Fully embrace and demonstrate the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Actively collaborate with the wider League Operations Team and share best practices to drive performance.
  • Support the development of the League Executive team with sales and customer service best practices, for example, overcoming obstacles.

Business Development

  • Maintain an awareness of expansion opportunities within venues and act as necessary.
  • Work to develop partnerships with local and national organisations.
  • Identify new opportunities and put actions in place to develop these.
  • Utilise and monitor social media channels to increase interest and generate new business.
