Altrincham FC Women are seeking a committed, organised, and detail-oriented Head of Analysis to support the ongoing development of the First Team and Elite U18s for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
This is a fully remote, work-from-home role, operating in a voluntary / work experience capacity, in line with all current roles within the club. It provides an excellent opportunity for a developing analyst to gain hands-on experience within a competitive women’s football environment while working flexibly and independently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing recorded fixtures using video footage and advanced performance data, identifying key weaknesses and areas for improvement, and producing clear PowerPoint-based post-match analysis presentations. These presentations will be used by the coaching staff in Thursday squad meetings, three days after each competitive fixture.
All analysis will be aligned to the club’s game model and principles of play, which will be provided by the coaching staff.
Analyse recorded competitive fixtures for the First Team and Elite U18s using the club’s VEO platform.
Review matches remotely to identify tactical, technical, and structural weaknesses.
Clip, tag, and organise key moments from games to support learning and development.
Ensure all analysis aligns with the club’s game model and performance principles.
Create clear, concise, and professional PowerPoint presentations following each match.
Focus presentations on:
Identified weaknesses
Areas for improvement
Key moments linked to the game model
Support findings with video clips, screenshots, and performance data.
Deliver completed presentations to coaching staff within three days of each match.
All presentations will be used in Thursday squad meetings led by the coaching staff.

This structured timeline ensures consistent, high-quality post-match feedback while allowing flexible, home-based working.
Use the club’s VEO cameras and highest-tier statistics package to analyse performance data remotely.
Track and compare match statistics on a game-by-game basis, including (but not limited to):
Shots (for and against)
Passes and pass completion
Possession
Goals conceded
Free kicks
Corners
Identify trends over time to highlight development, progress, or recurring issues.
Provide data-led insights to support short-term improvements and long-term development.
Work remotely but closely with coaches and technical staff to ensure analysis meets performance needs.
Adapt analysis focus based on coaching priorities and upcoming opposition.
Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication regarding analysis findings and deadlines.
Full remote access to the club’s VEO account, including:
Two VEO cameras
Highest-level statistics and analysis package
Access to the club’s game model and performance framework.
Ongoing support and collaboration with coaching staff throughout the season.
Strong interest in football performance analysis.
Comfortable working independently in a remote / virtual role.
Experience using video analysis software (VEO desirable but not essential).
Confident creating PowerPoint presentations for performance feedback.
Good understanding of football tactics and game models.
Organised, reliable, and able to meet weekly deadlines.
Comfortable working in a voluntary / work experience capacity within women’s football.
Fully remote, work-from-home Head of Analysis experience.
