The Ticket Office Assistant plays a key role within the Ticket Office, supporting the sales and fulfilment of match tickets, season cards, memberships, and other products promoted by the club and venue. The role involves assisting with ticketing system setup and carrying out a range of day-to-day administrative and operational duties to support the effective running of the ticketing operation.
A central part of the role is providing an exceptional customer experience for supporters and visitors. The Ticket Office Assistant will act as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and offering advice on ticketing products and services. Responsibilities include delivering a high standard of customer service in person, over the phone and via email, ensuring all interactions are handled promptly, accurately and courteously.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
