What You’ll Be Doing
Leeds United Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed Foundation Phase Head Coach to lead the development of players within the Leeds United Girls Academy U11-U12 age groups.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the Academy's coaching programme, ensuring players develop technically, tactically, physically, psychologically, and socially within a safe and supportive environment. Working closely with the Technical Director and Centre Manager, you will help create positive experiences that support player progression and the continued growth of the girls' game.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver high-quality coaching sessions in line with the Leeds United Girls Academy philosophy.
Implement Academy training and games programmes in accordance with Long Term Player Development (LTPD) principles.
Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of all players at all times.
Conduct player reviews and provide ongoing developmental feedback.
Create, maintain, and review Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Monitor player progress and support each individual's development journey.
Maintain accurate coaching records, including session plans, reports, and player documentation.
Complete all administrative duties, including registers, risk assessments, safeguarding records, and health & safety documentation.
Attend fixtures, Academy meetings, and development events as required.
Work collaboratively with Academy staff to support programme objectives.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely.
Act as a positive role model and ambassador for Leeds United Foundation and the Girls Academy.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll have:
UEFA C Licence.
FA First Aid Qualification.
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate.
Eligibility to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate coaching practices.
Passion for women's and girls' football and its continued development.
Access to your own transport.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a coaching team.
Experience
Experience coaching girls' football.
Experience planning and delivering structured coaching sessions.
Experience supporting player development within a football environment.
Experience working with young players in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
Experience monitoring progress and providing player feedback.
