The Role

We’re looking for a Football Coach to help lead our new soccer school sessions each Saturday morning.
This is an ideal role for someone who:

  • Loves working with young children and seeing them learn through play
  • Understands or is keen to apply the FA’s “Play Phase” philosophy
  • Can create sessions that are fun, imaginative, and child-led
  • Brings energy, buckets of patience, and a big smile to every session

Whether you’re already a qualified coach, a parent with coaching experience, or someone whose own children have grown up but you miss being part of the football environment — this could be perfect for you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with young children
  • A positive, encouraging coaching style
  • Basic understanding of child development and safeguarding
  • Ideally FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience of working with or coaching young players is an advantage but not essential
  • Reliability and a genuine desire to help children enjoy the game

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.43-£17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
