What is the role?
As a Casual Matchday Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for Southampton Football Club you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors, staff, and players. You will be the first impression for many, and your passion for the club will be instrumental in fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.
What will you be doing?
Whilst on the front desk, you will be the face of Southampton FC and responsible for creating a welcoming and positive environment, greeting visitors and ensuring they are signed in and directed to the appropriate department while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times. You will answer and direct calls promptly and efficiently, as well as handle in person inquiries from visitors, staff and the general public, providing accurate information and an exceptional customer service.
You will manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages alongside maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the reception area, ensuring the club is well-presented and the reception is organised and running smoothly. You will work closely with various departments within the club and be on hand to support when required, as well as assisting with VIP guests and ticketing queries on match day.
