What is the role?
As a Casual Matchday Screen/Graphics Operator, you will be responsible for operating and managing all on-screen content and graphics for matchdays and other stadium events at St Mary's Stadium. This role is crucial in enhancing the fan experience through dynamic and engaging visual displays.
What will you be doing?
You will be operating live scoreboards and large screen displays during Southampton FC home matches and other events.
Other responsibilities include preparing and managing pre-match, half-time, and post-match graphic sequences, including team line-ups, statistics, advertising, and promotional content.
You will accurately displaying live match information such as scores, timers, substitutions, and bookings in real-time, whilst working closely with the matchday production team, stadium operations, and marketing departments to ensure seamless integration of visual content.
You will be troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues with screen or graphics systems promptly during events, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and relevant football association regulations, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of equipment as required.
Finally, you will be participating in pre-match testing and rehearsals to ensure operational readiness and maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail under pressure in a live event environment.
