What is the role?
We are seeking an Academy Goalkeeper Coach To lead and deliver the U18 goalkeeper program in line with the SFC goalkeeper curriculum the clubs playing philosophy as well as supporting the development of the GKs across the pathway.
What will you be doing?
You will lead the goalkeeper provision for the U18 players and manage the individual development plan process for each goalkeeper while working with the Academy Goalkeeper Development Manager to support the audit process as well as the evolution of the goalkeeper curriculum and methodology.
Taking responsibility for the planning, delivery and review the age and stage related goalkeeper and team sessions, you will attend squad selection meetings and contribute to match reports with goalkeeper specific insights and development recommendations.
You will conduct analysis sessions focused on the technical, tactical and decision-making aspects of goalkeeping while also supporting the physical and psychological long-term development of the U18 goalkeepers and the transition from Youth Development Phase to full time Professional Development Phase.
