We are looking for a Junior Content Editor for our Italian market to join our Content team and grow with us as we shape how football content is created, distributed, and experienced by our users. This is a junior role for someone who is curious, motivated, and passionate about football, digital media, and storytelling.

You will work closely with experienced editors and external partners, learning how to spot great stories, support breaking news, and deliver relevant content to football fans, with speed and care.

Your Role

  • Manage and support content partners and their content for our platform users
  • Curate, edit, and push the best football content across articles, video, and push notifications
  • Use and experiment with Gen AI tools to support content creation and workflows
  • Contribute your football and editorial expertise to the development of innovative content tools
  • Help identify what our users want and deliver content that matches their needs
  • Support breaking news coverage and aim to be among the first to publish
  • Use performance data and analytics to improve editorial decisions
  • Spot issues in content processes and proactively suggest improvements

Your Profile

  • Fluent Italian and English speaker with excellent writing and editing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media production, communications, or at least two years of equivalent experience
  • Good understanding of the Italian football ecosystem and content creator landscape
  • Passionate football fan with solid knowledge of leagues, clubs, players, and trends
  • Able to write compelling headlines and engaging push notifications
  • Digital-first in your thinking, with an appreciation for traditional sports journalism
  • Positive, open-minded, and keen to learn and try new ideas
  • Comfortable working in an international team
