Job Description
The person in this position will be responsible for managing daily security operations, including leading and overseeing security measures for events and facilities, and managing associated technological strategies. They will play a key role in protecting infrastructure and stakeholders, thereby contributing to maintaining a safe environment for everyone. They will also act as a resource person, collaborating closely with various internal departments as well as authorities, agencies, and external partners to ensure optimal planning of security needs. This position requires a high degree of flexibility, particularly due to a variable schedule depending on matches and events. The incumbent may also be required to work at the Club's various operational sites.
Main responsibilities
- Manage all services related to the security of facilities, events, access and emergency situations, and liaise with official bodies.
- Plan, develop and implement emergency procedures with the authorities and Major League Soccer.
- Review safety and security plans annually, and recommend improvements based on best practices.
- Design, implement and supervise an integrated security system (electronic surveillance, access control, fire prevention).
- Proactively monitor security equipment and coordinate its maintenance.
- Adapt security measures to current standards and codes, particularly for fire safety.
- Define and update evacuation and emergency protocols.
- Give clear instructions to teams during emergency interventions.
- Organize safety training sessions to raise employee awareness of procedures.
- Coordinate with medical services to ensure a rapid response to emergencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose corrective measures.
- Conduct investigations into incidents and document the actions taken.
- Keep all necessary security-related files and records up to date.
- Maintaining strong relationships with law enforcement to facilitate collaboration.
- Keep informed of safety laws and ensure that facilities comply with regulations.
- Collaborating with the operations and customer service team to improve safety and the spectator experience.
- Recruit, train and supervise security personnel, and plan schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
- Participate in the development and management of the department's budget, identify potential savings.
- Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications
- The personality! Proactive, resourceful, rigorous, solution-oriented, with a great sense of teamwork.
- Hold a degree in security and police studies, public safety, criminology or a related field.
- Possess significant experience in the field of security, ideally in environments such as sports complexes, public facilities or high-traffic infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of security, surveillance and access control systems.
- Good understanding of the laws and regulations relating to safety in Quebec.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain DEA, first aid, CPR and other relevant certifications.
- Ability to remain calm and react effectively in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated skills in team management and ability to lead effectively.
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently, and to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written; the individual will be required to establish business relationships within and outside Quebec and deal regularly with Major League Soccer based in the United States.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite.
Required qualifications

- Hold or be eligible to obtain certifications such as DEA, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant credentials.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated team management skills and the ability to lead efficiently.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and perform under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
