The Role

We’re currently recruiting a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer within our Technology Department to provide advanced technical support across Tottenham Hotspur's diverse technology estate. This role is pivotal in supporting both day-to-day operations and live events, acting as a senior point of escalation within the service team. You’ll combine strong technical capabilities with a proactive, customer-focused approach to ensure exceptional service is consistently delivered.

About You

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line (or advanced 1st Line) support role within a high-paced, service-led environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Confident diagnosing and resolving complex incidents involving networks (Wi-Fi, LAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and business-critical applications.
  • Experience supporting users of all levels, including senior leadership, with a calm, professional, and solutions-driven attitude.
  • Hands-on knowledge of device imaging and deployment using tools such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or similar.
  • Familiarity with ITSM systems (e.g., Halo) with the ability to prioritise and manage incidents and service requests based on business impact and urgency.
  • Experience managing and maintaining a CMDB, ensuring asset accuracy and lifecycle tracking.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and proactive monitoring tools, with a keen eye for alerts, anomalies, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong documentation habits to support internal knowledge sharing and process improvement.

  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and a process-driven approach to service delivery.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and across locations as required by the Club's event calendar.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to liaise across departments such as AV, infrastructure and networks.
  • A growth mindset and the enthusiasm to contribute to a high-performance team culture
