The Assistant/Associate Women's Soccer Coach will be responsible for recruiting, administration and on field coaching of the Women's Soccer program as directed by the Head Women's Soccer Coach. This Assistant/Associate Coach will work with the Head Coach to lead the Women's Soccer program and develop student-athletes both on and off the field.
Essential Functions
Serve as lead recruiting coordinator; Evaluate, contact and recruit potential student-athletes to the Women's Soccer program.
Instruct student-athletes on the techniques of the game, lead training sessions, advise Head Coach on game and practice strategies, analyze game and practice films.
Responsible for specialized aspect of the game/sport and training (to be determined by Head Coach.)
Support the ACHIEVE Center academic staff with monitoring the academic progress of Women's Soccer student-athletes.
Work with the Business Office to arrange travel for Women's Soccer team, operate camps and clinics in addition to alumni outreach and events to support the fundraising needs of the men's soccer program.
Assist the Head Coach in directing and effective varsity athletic program in all aspects.
Assist in the teaching, coaching, training, and motivating the program's student-athletes to preform at the highest level through organized and individual team sessions as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Perform other administrative functions as needed to operate and efficient Women's Soccer program that provides a positive and growing experience for the Women's Soccer student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
Minimum of 2 years of college coaching experience.
Strong video breakdown and analysis, organizational, communication and administrative skills.
Proven history of recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate playing experience.
