Position

The Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Club Photographer to help capture and shape the visual story of West Ham United across our Women’s Team, Academy and wider Club activity.

From matchdays and training sessions to features and commercial campaigns, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality photography that reflects the identity of the Club across all platforms.

Requirements

⚽ Your Responsibilities


Women’s Team

•Lead photography output on matchdays, training sessions and player features.

•Work closely with Comms, Content and Editorial teams to ensure imagery aligns with key narratives.

•Collaborate with social and content teams to develop creative concepts.

Academy

•Capture matchdays, training and player features across age groups.

•Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with the wider Club identity.

•Build and manage the Academy photography archive.

Club-Wide Coverage

•Cover Men’s Premier League fixtures, partnership and community activations.

•Support commercial campaigns including retail and ticketing.

•Edit and upload imagery to Getty Images to extend coverage beyond Club channels.

•Log and archive all projects thoroughly using internal systems.


🧩 What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience working within football
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional photography experience
  • Strong knowledge of studio lighting setups
  • Advanced Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable
  • Passion for sport and entertainment
  • Willingness to travel and work regular weekends
