About The Role & Who We’re Scouting
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Sports Science Intern (MSc Placement) to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As Sports Science Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Sports Science and Strength and Conditioning team in their delivery to academy player under the supervision of the Academy Leads at the LCFC's training ground.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist and/or lead gym and pitch-based athletic development sessions across multiple age groups.
Support regular athletic testing to update individual player profiles and training programmes.
Monitor and analyse internal and external training load data to inform planning and periodisation.
