About The Role
Job Summary
Reporting into the Academy Head of Performance Support; Casual Sports Therapists will provide medical support and expertise to Academy Players and other Academy Clinical/Medical staff as required.
Ensure Academy players under your care receive appropriate assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.
Provide appropriate medical cover is at all training sessions/games/festivals/tournaments which you attend
To provide effective communication strategies to inform relevant Academy Clinical and Coaching staff of the progress of players under your care.
To monitor and reflect upon the practices and treatment you provide to ensure continual professional development.
To ensure the appropriate medical equipment is present at all training sessions and games you are covering.
To check equipment regularly and ask for training if you are unfamiliar with the equipment.
