TEAM: BCFC Men’s Academy LINE MANAGER: Academy Head of Medical LOCATION: Robins High Performance Centre, BS8 3TN SALARY: £35,000 per annum We are looking for a lead physiotherapist who will lead the efficient and effective functioning of the medical support services provided to the academy squad and support the performance ambitions of the club by leading and delivering best practice physiotherapy and professional care to players. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Evidence based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation primarily for U21 & U18 academy players, whilst supporting as required the U9 – U16 programmes. Ensuring appropriate medical cover for all academy age group training sessions and fixtures. Age-appropriate medical screening is completed on a seasonal basis across the academy programme. About The Role Main roles and responsbilities -    Plan, deliver and evaluate treatment and rehabilitation strategies for Academy players Line manager to Academy Physiotherapists Co-ordinate and manage the work schedules for all Academy physiotherapists on a weekly basis Work closely with the First Team Physiotherapy department with regards to the transition of players into the professional squad Ensure appropriate medical supervision at all U18 training sessions and matches Deliver indoors (Physio room and Gym) and outdoors (on field) rehabilitation sessions and safely return to play To meet the criteria of the EPPP Ensure appropriate physio cover is in place for each training session and games programme in compliance with EPPP requirements Organise Cardiac Screens for relevant age groups annually Conduct MSK screening of Academy players throughout the season Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team...
