JOB SUMMARY The Academy Performance Coach will develop and implement strength and conditioning training for D.C. United’s academy teams in accordance with the academy’s curriculum, periodization, objectives, and values. They will work in conjunction with head coaches, goalkeeper coach, athletic trainer and other teams in the club to maximize the potential of each player, and the efficiency of each session. The Performance Coach will be training sessions, matches, and tournaments. They are also expected to test and improve each player’s physical qualities in relation their current playing level and what the next level will require. Constant, specific and accurate feedback to players/coaching staff will be necessary as is the tracking of specific, trackable data points. JOB SUMMARY The Youth Soccer Coach will be responsible for the coaching of soccer camps and clinics around the DMV area throughout the year. The youth soccer coach will deliver from different curricula depending on the program. In addition, the coach will actively scout and recommend players for DC United’s Regional Development School program. The coach will report directly to the Director of Youth Programs.
