- Ipswich Town Football Club are seeking a Sous Chef to join our growing team. The Sous chef will support the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef in delivering high quality food across all stadium operations. You will be able to lead service under pressure, supervise the kitchen team, and ensure all dishes are delivered with consistently high standards during matchdays, conferences and events.
You will communicate effectively with the front of house team, be able to resolve issues during service, contribute to menu development, uphold strict hygiene standards, and help train and mentor new staff.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
