We are looking for a French-speaking person to start immediately or by arrangement.

The focus of this position is on supporting our French-speaking visitors. Therefore, we are looking for someone with excellent French skills who can convey our content with enthusiasm, confidence, and a good understanding of different target groups. In addition, very good knowledge of German or English as a second language is required.

Your tasks:

  • Leading guided tours in French through the permanent exhibition for groups, companies, school classes, families and other target groups.
  • Conducting public guided tours and guided tours through special exhibitions
  • Depending on the second language, guided tours are conducted in German or English.
  • Independent familiarization with the topics and focus areas of the permanent and special exhibitions
  • Target group-oriented, lively and interactive presentation of our content
  • Participation in further training courses and quarterly meetings
  • Collaboration and support of the museum team at special events
 

Our requirements:

  • French at native speaker or negotiation level 
  • Excellent knowledge of German or English as a second language.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Personal connection to football as well as passion for the sport as a cultural asset and social phenomenon
  • Enjoyment of interacting with people and conveying stories and content.
  • Willingness to establish and further develop a modern and dialogue-oriented understanding of mediation.
  • Flexibility for assignments during the museum's opening hours from 10:00 to 18:00
  • Willingness to be available for regular weekend deployments
  • Experience in educational work in museums or other cultural institutions is an advantage.

Our exhibitions and events in the FIFA Museum at Zurich's Enge railway station and abroad show how international football has continually developed, generating enthusiasm, inspiring and connecting people around the world.

With numerous attractions, audio-visual content and varied exhibition areas that are also intended to stimulate reflection, the museum shows the global influence of football. A permanent exhibition area of around 3,000 square metres is available on three levels and comprises more than 1,000 exhibits in an interactive, multimedia world of experience. In addition, the museum offers an exciting cultural program and an educational program for families with children and school classes.

Our FIFA Museum team is just as unique as our exhibitions and events program. Around 80 employees are currently working for the museum. They represent different nationalities, various professional backgrounds and numerous languages. They are united by their shared passion, love and enthusiasm for football and culture.
