We’re looking for a driven and proactive Schoolboy Physiotherapist to support in the day to day running of the medical provision for schoolboy aged (U9-16 years) players at Ipswich Town's Category 1 Academy.
The successful applicant must demonstrate excellent assessment and rehabilitation skills appropriate to an elite academy football environment. You will demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning skills and provide evidence based treatment and rehabilitation using objective criteria.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
