Club DCFC Sales Administrator

Derby County are seeking to recruit a Club DCFC Sales Administrator to join the Club DCFC department at Pride Park Stadium.

The successful candidate will be responsible forassisting in the smooth running and delivery of events at Pride Park Stadium, including Matchday Hospitality. Your primary responsibilities will be administering and coordinating day-to-day conferences, conducting interdepartmental meetings, confirming provisionally held bookings, agreeing on agendas and client requirements, tracking account balances and assisting with issuing tickets for home fixtures for hospitality guests.

In addition, the successful candidate will engage with customers to create/convert enquiries and ensure clients’ expectations are exceeded, designing bespoke and tailored packages to best suit the client’s requirements. You will build a rapport with clients, manage accounts to repeat business, and conduct client show-around to discuss their events in more detail.

Please note that you will be expected to work matchdays and special events as required.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Effectively coordinate day-to-day conference and events bookings within appropriate timescales
• Manage the handover process of events to the Operations team within appropriate timescales
• Take responsibility for weekly function sheet meetings
• Chase provisionally held business within agreed timescales
• Assist accounts with chasing deposit and balance payments whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer service
• Generate Purchase Orders using relevant systems
• Produce accurate and detailed proposals to customers to suit their needs
• Ensure the client’s experience exceeds expectations
• Issue tickets for DCFC home fixtures, including itineraries
• Update Matchday Function Sheets as required
• To be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of customers and colleagues, complying with health and safety guidance and policy
• Continuously work to maintain, embed and improve the club’s safeguarding provision ensuring the highest standards for safeguarding children and adults at risk
• To uphold and promote organisational policies and procedures, promoting those specifically applicable to this area of work and also including equality, diversity and inclusion
• To present and promote an appropriate public image in representing the organisation
• To undertake any other duties as may reasonably berequiredcommensurate with the post
• Promote sustainability within the business by implementing eco-friendly practices, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility to help minimize the company's carbon footprint

Qualifications:

• English and Maths to GCSE Level 4 or equivalent
• Event Management Qualification

Salary is competitive, dependent on experience.

Excellent spoken and written English is essential for this role, as it involves clear, accurate communication in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

This is a full-time role, and due to the demands of professional football, there is a requirement for weekend and evening work.
