Women & Girls Pathway Coach

Location: Elland Road. Leeds. LS11 0ES (various offsite locations)

Contract: Casual

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for passionate and reliable coaches to deliver high-quality sessions across the Leeds United Women & Girls Pathway, supporting players aged 7–16. This role plays a key part in developing talent, increasing participation, and supporting progression through the club’s structured pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, structured coaching sessions aligned to the Women & Girls Pathway

Support player development and progression, identifying and nurturing individual potential

Adapt sessions to suit varying ages (7–16) and ability levels

Create a positive, inclusive, and player-centred environment

Monitor and report on player development and progress

Support pathway fixtures, events, and talent identification activities

Maintain high safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards

Build strong, professional relationships with players, parents, and colleagues

Represent Leeds United Foundation in a professional and positive manner across all settings

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have:

UEFA C (FA Level 2) Licence or working towards

FA Safeguarding Children certification and Emergency First Aid qualification

Eligibility to pass an Enhanced DBS check

Strong understanding of safeguarding and welfare standards

Excellent communication and engagement skills

Passion for women’s and girls’ football and its development

Ability to inspire and motivate young players

Flexible approach to working evenings and weekends

Enthusiastic, reliable, and organised approach to coaching

Experience

Experience working with children or young people in a sporting or coaching environment

Experience delivering football coaching sessions

Understanding of player development within grassroots or pathway settings

Ability to build positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries with young people
