The Youth Engagement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, designing and delivering inclusive youth engagement programmes that empower young people to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to achieve their full potential. The role focuses on increasing participation, creating safe and supportive environments, reducing barriers to opportunity and encouraging positive life choices.
Working collaboratively with schools, families, community partners and stakeholders, the Youth Engagement Coordinator develops and delivers needs-led interventions that respond to the challenges facing young people. Key responsibilities include overseeing programme delivery, building positive relationships with participants, monitoring outcomes and ensuring activities are engaging, accessible and impactful.
The role also supports the strategic development of youth engagement initiatives, strengthening pathways into education, training, employment, volunteering and wider community opportunities.
The successful candidate will lead on a mix of new and existing programmes, providing the local community with opportunities to increase their physical activity levels and create better healthier habits.
