The role supports the technical, tactical, physical, and personal development of goalkeepers through engaging and age-appropriate coaching provision. Without this role, specialist goalkeeper development within the female pathway would not be delivered consistently or effectively

The Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist delivers high-quality injury management, rehabilitation and player welfare support to participants within the Girls' Games Programme (GGP) and Emerging Talent Centre (ETC), Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL) & Post 16 programmes ensuring activity meets The Albion Foundation safeguarding, medical and player development standards.  The role supports the health, wellbeing and safe participation of players through evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation provision. Without this role, appropriate medical support and player care across all football pathway’s would not be consistently maintained.

Without this role, the physical performance programme and player development pathway would not be delivered consistently or effectively.

The Girls Games Programme U16 Co-Coach at The Albion Foundation will help the planning, delivery and management of high-quality football provision within a competitive league environment, supporting the development of players both on and off the pitch.  The role is responsible for creating a positive, challenging and inclusive performance culture that enables young people to develop their technical ability, tactical understanding, teamwork, discipline and confidence. They will oversee training & matchday operations, player progression and coach support while ensuring all activity is delivered in line with the Foundation’s values, safeguarding standards and long-term player development, as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
