The Inclusion Department delivers a broad range of community, school-based and targeted programmes that use sport, physical activity and early intervention to engage disadvantaged and underrepresented communities. Working in partnership with schools, local authorities, police, community organisations and other key stakeholders, the department creates inclusive pathways that improve participation, wellbeing, community safety and life chances across Derby and Derbyshire.  The Inclusion Manager will lead, manage and develop Derby County Community Trust’s Inclusion Department, ensuring the effective delivery, growth and sustainability of a diverse portfolio of inclusion programmes and services.

You will provide strategic leadership across all inclusion activity, ensuring programmes align with the Trust’s strategic objectives, local priorities and wider city and county strategies. You will be responsible for securing funding and commissioning opportunities, developing innovative programmes, strengthening partnerships and ensuring the department delivers high-quality, impactful services.

You will lead and develop a team of staff and volunteers, working collaboratively across the Trust and with external stakeholders to maximise opportunities, increase participation and enhance the Trust’s reputation as a leading provider of inclusive community services.
