Position Description
 
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing the organization’s transactions related to accounts payables/receivables, and other administrative accounting tasks.
 
This role will be reporting to the office within our National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain the accounts payable inbox
  • Collect mail daily from mailroom
  • Process accounts payable invoices
  • Follow up with individuals on outstanding invoice approvals
  • Review expenses in the organization expense reporting platform
  • Record checks received, and provide departments deposit information
  • Assist with the generation invoices for accounts receivable
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
 
Minimum Qualifications
  •  High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting with a focus in accounts payable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Financial ERP systems
  • Strong verbal, written and in-person communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills
  • General knowledge of soccer
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission

  • Experience working at a non-profit, sporting organization, financial services, or public accounting firm
  • Experience at a public accounting firm
