About the role
Newcastle United Women are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced leader to spearhead our Professional Game Academy. This is your chance to shape the next generation of talent and drive a successful, sustainable Academy to new heights! Are you passionate about growing the Women’s game? We are looking for a talented, experienced leader to work with the club to develop and manage a Professional Game Academy that’s both successful and sustainable.

As the Academy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our players, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both staff and players to thrive, while also complying with all FA regulations. You will lead a dynamic team and act as a role model, maintaining the Academy's high standards in professional development and continuous improvement.
The position will involve the following responsibilities:
Your impact
You will have a degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline, a UEFA B Licence and substantial experience working in a football academy or professional sports environment. You will need a proven ability to mentor and lead teams, with a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and compliant environment. You will have exceptional organisational and communication skills, leadership capabilities and a sound understanding of player contracts, welfare and safeguarding procedures.
