First Team Analysis Internship

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Film all training sessions and first team matches

• Assist in the production of individual clips

• Assist with the production of set play videos

• Produce opposition penalty document

• Produce parts of a pre match opposition document

• Be available to assist in analysis tasks or projects

MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience & Knowledge

• An understanding and passion for the tactical aspects of football and a desire to learn and contribute to the tactical preparation of the first team squad

• Experience using analysis software and platforms with the strong desire to learn how to use them

• Knowledge of performance analysis principles and basic understanding of football data and key metrics

• Experience in analysing football matches (academic, internship or personal projects)

• Skills & Competencies

• High attention to detail with the ability to identify tactical patterns and key moments in matches

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to other members of the department

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines around match schedules

• Good IT skills with competency in Microsoft Excel and Keynote in particular

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This internship can be completed either full-time or around existing commitments

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as required

• Expenses will be covered
