The Role: 

The Personal Assistant (PA) will provide high-quality, proactive, and confidential administrative and organisational support to senior leaders within the football club. This role ensures the smooth running of day-to-day executive activity, enabling senior management to operate efficiently, make effective decisions, and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare key documentation, and act as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders. The role also includes supporting matchday and weekend operations, assisting with events, and contributing to projects that improve efficiency across the club.

Operating in a fast-paced elite sporting environment, you will need to be adaptable, highly organised, and comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
 
The Person: 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar high-level administrative role
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working independently, using initiative, and remaining calm under pressure
  • High proficiency in MS Office and modern digital tools
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, full days, and matchdays as required

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience working in a sports environment, ideally football
  • Understanding of the demands of elite sport operations
  • Experience coordinating events or supporting cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, scheduling platforms, or executive reporting
