What is the role?
We are looking for a Casual Academy Goalkeeper Coach to support the development of goalkeepers within our academy, predominantly within the foundation phase. The role involves delivering high quality coaching sessions, nurturing talent, supporting match day delivery and contributing to the overall success of our long term goalkeeper development strategy.
What will you be doing?
You will plan and deliver age and stage appropriate, elite goalkeeper coaching sessions to academy players across various age groups, adhering to the clubs coaching philosophy and goalkeeper curriculum while ensuring sessions are engaging and effective and in line with our goalkeeping methodology.
Assessing and evaluating the performance of individual goalkeepers, you will provide constructive feedback and contribute to their individual development plans while working closely with other academy coaches, medical staff and performance analysis to ensure a holistic approach to player development.
You will maintain accurate records of training sessions and player attendance via our internal system and contribute to match reports with goalkeeper specific insights and development recommendations to support the evolution of the goalkeeper curriculum and methodology.

You have a genuine passion for youth football development and a commitment to continuous learning with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain organized and focused in a fast paced environment.
You have a flexible approach to work and can be available for evenings and weekends and you are willing to act as a cover coach across all academy age groups if and when required
