Job Description

Coaches’ Voice is seeking a talented Video Editor to help produce high-quality football content across our digital platforms. We are looking for a hard-working, passionate and creative individual with professional experience in video editing.

You should have strong technical skills, particularly in Adobe Premiere Pro, with some experience or interest in After Effects, and a flair for storytelling through engaging, high-quality edits.

Working alongside a senior video editor, a producer and the Head of Production, you will be expected to work on complex edits and contribute to projects across the editing process. You should be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, eager to develop their skills, and able to take feedback positively while contributing ideas in the edit. Proficiency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and deliver video content across Coaches’ Voice channels
  • Help manage and maintain the video archive
  • Assist with reversioning archive material for Academy projects
  • Attend and assist with shoots as required
  • Assist with motion graphics edits as required
  • Demonstrate sound editorial judgement, taking projects from raw footage to a strong first cut and contributing to shaping the narrative and pacing of edits
  • Ensure video files and projects follow internal workflows and naming conventions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends and techniques
  • Edit promotional material to music

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years’ professional experience as a video editor
  • Excellent editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience working with multi-layer timelines and organised project structures (e.g. nests, proxies)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and the desire to work in AE projects
  • Understanding of video editing workflows and file organisation
  • Impeccable attention to detail and high editorial standards
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong written English
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of football
  • A showreel or examples of previous editing work

Desirable Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects
  • Football coaching badges and/or knowledge of tactics or coaching
