ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is responsible for supporting the National CALD Program Manager with the implementation of Football Australia’s Multicultural Programs. The role will assist with the administration and coordination of National Multicultural Programs for the Nation and is an important member of Football Australia’s Community Team and will work on key Multicultural programs targeting participation from age 5 through to 18.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration and coordination support of MYP/MSP Programs nationally
- Liaise with and support the Member Federations including Multicultural taskforce and Member Federation employees
- Assis with orders, invoicing and communication with suppliers and warehouse operations for Multicultural Program participant packs and equipment
- Execute program resources, guidelines and principles to enhance the quality program experience
- Delivery of quality customer service experiences
- Assist the Marketing, Communications, and Digital teams to create national collateral for Multicultural Programs
- Support the activation of Multicultural events, Men’s and Women’s National team events and other showcase opportunities

- Work with program manager to:
- Implement program reviews to ensure constant program development
- Build relationships, work closely with local stakeholders to identify barriers to participation and how these can be overcome with community programs.
- Capture data, measure growth and report on Multicultural Programs
- Assist with multicultural program reporting and presentation requirements for funded programs and corporate partnerships
- Identify, collaborate and strengthen Football Australia and CALD relationships in the community to drive awareness for both programs. Work with relevant internal and external partners
ROLE OUTCOMES
- Establish relationships with Multicultural communities with a view of running the Multicultural MiniRoos and Multicultural Youth programs
- Assist with implementation of National Multicultural MiniRoos and Multicultural Youth programs
- Work with Member Federation staff to the delivery of KPIs as per individual agreements
- Work with relevant FA Multicultural Program Ambassadors and community leaders
- Liaise with LGA and other Multicultural authorities on the progress of the programs
- Assist National Program Manager, Multicultural to deliver all required Sport Australia Multicultural program reporting
- Overall satisfaction rating among stakeholders & beneficiaries (Member Federations, local Clubs/Associations, Schools, Teacher
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Completed tertiary qualifications in sport management/administration, Community or a related area of study
- Previous experience running Multicultural programs
- Demonstrative experience in project management and implementation. Management of community sport projects highly desirable
- High attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritise work commitments and meet deadlines
- Well organised and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written.
- Understanding of contemporary initiatives for program enhancement
- Strong attention to detail
- Diplomacy and strong customer service approach
- Understanding of core principles of Football Development
- Strong IT knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office products
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Working with children check (paid/employee) or state-based equivalent
- International Criminal History Record for each country (other than Australia) in which you have resided for 12 months or more in the last 10 years (if applicable)
- Out of hours and weekend work as required
